The government shutdown is impacting critical programs like SNAP/EBT, meaning some benefits might not be available starting November 1st. We know how much this impacts our community, and we will not let our families go hungry.

Here is our plan to help our families using SNAP immediately:

• Starting November 1st, if your family uses an EBT card, you can get one essential item from our store for FREE. This is our gift to make sure you have the healthy cultural food you need.

• Our Long-Term Support Plan (Consignment): We are setting up a special plan so you can continue to get your groceries on credit, even without your EBT funds. If you’re interested in this please fill out this form.

Here is the simple breakdown of how this plan works:

You get the groceries you need today to feed your family.

You only pay us back later IF the government restarts SNAP and sends you the money they owe you from the shutdown time. If the money doesn't come, you don't owe us a thing. We are taking the risk because you are family!

We are working closely with some partners to make this a reality. We are committed to finding a path forward, and we will update you every step of the way.
